• Must be able to read and understand drawing and capable of identify the *EDM* operation.• Knows how to operate the SEDM machine without supervision.• Capable of using all measuring instruments to an accuracy of 0.005mm• Capable of setting the job and electrode to a accuracy of 0.01mm• Knowledge of Spark Gap and EDM cycle.• Capable of electrode material selection. Capable of deburring the electrode without damaging profile.• Capable of understanding the flushing and carbon cleaning on job and electrode• Knows how to calculate and build up slip gauges for setting sine table to spark gate or counter bore
