Job Description:

*Prepare the honing machine for operation by installing the appropriate honing tools, adjusting tool offsets, and aligning workpieces.*Create or modify CNC programs or manually set machine parameters to define the honing process, tool paths, feeds, speeds and other parameters.*Choose the appropriate honing tools, such as abrasive stones or diamond-plated tools, based on the material and size of the workpiece.*Properly manage coolant flow and pressure to facilitate chip evacuation, mage heat and improve the quality of the drilled holes. Identify and address issues that may arise during honing, such as tool wear, inadequate material removal, or surface defects, and take corrective actions.
