| Role & responsibilities |
Set up and operate CNC Angle Punching/Angle Drilling/Plasma/Laser machines according to job specifications.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to identify machining requirements for assigned parts.
Write and edit CNC programs using specific G-code and M-code instructions tailored to the machine's capabilities and desired machining operations.
Optimize programs for efficiency, considering factors like cutting speeds, feed rates, and toolpaths to minimize production time while maintaining part quality.
Test and verify programs through simulations or dry runs to ensure accuracy and identify potential errors before actual machining. Collaborate with the production, manufacturing, and engineering teams to ensure machining processes meet project requirements and deadlines. |

Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprintsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous experience operating CNC Plasma/Laser/Angle Punching machines preferred but not required
